What in the Heck is Blue Sky and why should I start building Community there?

 I had someone reach out to me last week about how to connect to Blue Sky. This is to assist some of our less technical people in connecting.

What is Blue Sky and why should I care? It was created by the original creator of Twitter. 

I have always had to sort through information for Health Insurance because of the amount of lies being produced to discourage people from enrolling so Social Media became a tool.  Twitter used to be a go to however it has shifted recently towards more unreliable materials in the last couple of years. Facebook removing materials from Planned Parenthood. Tiktok ban. 

Which Brings us to Blue Sky:

It is going to ask for you to set up a profile. Some use names, businesses, interests or something fun. 

There are a fair amount of people that you might recognize. You can find them in the search bar on the upper right. Here is a sample of people and companies that you can find. Some are local and some national.

 I tend to use the Search Feature and Trending for current events. (Remember I used social media for information collection). 

When you are ready, add a picture to your profile and change your backdrop. Some people are much more social than I am and get fancy with Canva. 

Go slow, I do get people asking me about Crypto and I move them along because I am looking for people interested in exchanging information and building community.
